Maisie Spooner
I studied Fashion Design BA (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University and have built an incredible skill set which I wish to use to become a designer for a brand that I love, to continue challenging myself and continuing to develop my skills to produce my best possible work. I work well under pressure and am highly motivated.
I am a womenswear designer and specialise in my attention to detail, knowledge of pattern cutting and CAD, specifically Illustrator creating designs and technical specifications.
I enjoy creating clothes for myself in my free time, specifically summer dresses, tops and bikinis. I also created all of my festival outfits! I like to design clothes that I feel good in and know others would too, often using colour to bring a positive mood.

The perfect graduation dress-
Here is my design for my graduation dress. Being a fashion designer, it would be rude not to be making my own graduation dress!
I chose this beautiful material from Nottingham Trent University's fabric store as a nod towards the place I studied in and loved for 3 years of my life.
I really enjoyed creating this garment for myself. Making pieces that I or others can wear is so rewarding and inspires me to continue designing.
